I am native of Mobile, AL as a product of MCPSS graduating from Williamson High School. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with my Bachelor's and Master's in English and Music. I have 36 years of experience teaching at Vigor High School, 2 years at Prichard Preparatory School, and currently at Mattie T. Blount High School. 

I am active in my church as the minister of music. I also teach private music lessons.
