Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is a national student organization for students enrolled in Health Science Education programs. The activities of HOSA are an integral part of the instructional program that provides occupational skills as well as leadership skills
Mission: HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people

HCAP
HCAP is a specialized program designed to expose students to a wide range of careers in health care. Students experience learning in actual health care environments and obtain information on educational choices, career opportunities, and technical requirements. It is a community partnership. Through it, businesses acquire workers with a career focus and needed skills, and parents know their children are being prepared for a productive life with genuine learning and earning potential.
HCAP Offers:
1. Exposure to several health care fields.
2. Career guidance and decision making assistance
3. Progressive school and work based learning
4. Opportunities to acquire health care skills
Objectives:
1. To introduce students to career opportunities across the healthcare field, and to provide opportunities for students to shadow healthcare professionals, visit healthcare facilities, and to practice skills learned in the classroom.
2. To prepare students for every-level jobs in the healthcare industry and/or post -secondary education.
3. To provide employers with well trained and competent workers.
